"Wow....., what a great experience dealing with the people at Sheltered Cove. Bought our new 256 CC Seafox from our salesman, Capt. Jack Ryan :-).
Jack is a great guy to deal with, he answered all of our questions and found answers to the ones he did not know.
We did not need financing and had insurance in place but Jack found us a much better deal on the insurance.
Jack shared all of his knowledge about boating with us and had a many great laughs along the way. Also like to thank Joey Cannon, George and Vinny, really good guys with great personalities. Like any major purchase, there were a few minor problems along the way. However, everything was resolved immediately, with a sense of urgency, due to the great effort of the entire staff. Especially like to thank George for the outstanding job in preping the boat and outfitting it with all the electronics and detailing the boat, he made it shine !!
Again, wow! Great job Sheltered Cove Marina. We will always do business with you.

"I recently purchased my first boat from Shelterd Cove Marina and I can not say thank you enough. The treatment I received from their sales person Jack Ryan and their service manger Joey Cannon is second to none. This marina is the definition of customer service. After taking delivery of the boat they allowed me to use a slip there until I felt comfortable driving/docking the boat. On several different occasions they always had someone available to me to either get on the boat and practice (Thanks George) or Jack would would meet me at the dock to help me get into the slip. I hope Jack will still provide this service since my skill level was poor at the beginning and Jack was trying so hard to get me in safely he actually went for a swim!!!! If I had a video camera I know that video would of been a definite winner of the grand prize in America's Funniest Home videos.
I wish I could have kept my boat there all year but living over 120 miles from there and having to fight the summer Garden State Parkway traffic me and my wife didn't think it was an option. In hind sight the long drives we would of had would of been worth it just because of the great peope and incredible service you receive at Sheltered Cove Marina.
To sum it all up, if you are thinking about buying your first boat or upgrading, downgrading, whatever you would be making a mistake by not going to Sheltered Cove Marina.

"From the day I purchaed my boat at the NJ Boat Show my experince with Sheltered Cove Marina have been great. Being a first time boat owner their assistance was extremely valuable. The boat has always been serviced, winterized , fuel purchases and winter storage by Sheltered Cove. Yes I did have one serious problem however Joey Cannon worked hard for warranty coverage and limited my out of pocket expense and the boat is in top running condition."

"I purchased a 2011 256 Sea Fox, my third boat, after researching for a new boat, I decieded the Sea Fox appealed to me the most. I first went to the Baltimore Boat Show and they had the 256 on display and I liked what I seen, the salesman was not very knowledgeable, nor was the Sea Fox Rep, there trade value was low and they wanted to put me on a bunk trailer so I decieded to wait and go to the AC show, the show listed Sheltered Cove as the Sea Fox dealer. There I spoke to Mark and they did not have the 256 at the show but he told me they had one at there show room. I went to the Sheltered Cove show room the following week and Jack Ryan showed me there 256, it was not geared the way I wanted it Jack said no problem we went thru the opitions I wanted a odered the boat that day, I got the trade deal I wanted and trailer at a fair price, Jack was straight foward and knew most of the answers, what he didn't know off the top of his head he looked up and got me the answer. Once the boat was ordered Jack followed up with Sea fox and kept me abreast also acting as a go between for my loan, insurance, and licensing along with Helene there were no glitches in my paper work. Once the boat came in Jack went over the boat with me with a fine tooth comb, to insure it was what I wanted and how to best operate it. I had a few minor warranty issues Jack again was right there and steered me to Vinny who worked his magic to make the issues diseppear. All the while Jack was there to assure customer satisfaction.
My over all opinion is if your going to buy a boat buy it from Jack Ryan at Sheltered Cove.

"I would like to extend my thanks to the Sheltered Cove Marina staff for the exceptional treatment I received during my recent boat purchase. I placed an order at the Atlantic City Boat Show for a beautiful Sea Fox 256CC with the Ultima T-top. From the initial order to the final delivery, everything was performed as promised and when promised. I was particularly impressed with Jack Ryan, my sales rep. His product knowledge is extensive, he is personable, a pleasure to deal with and, best of all, he thorough and follows through when he says he will do something.
I needed to purchase some boat accessories and a few things for my dock. Steve, the Ships Store guy, helped me find exactly what I needed. He took the time to be sure that the dock parts I purchased would match my existing set up. He seemed to really care.
I have purchased five boats in my lifetime and this experience was, by far, the best. Thanks to all the guys at Sheltered Cove.

"I have been using your company for storage of my boat for two ir three years. I keep my boat in Beach Haven in our private marina and have been frustrated and annoyed at the poor service by three or four local marina I have used.
I purchased a new boat ( used) and decided to try something new and keep it across the bay on Tuckerton creek. I rode around and picked your marina as the most professional looking one in the area. Ironically, my 23' Century was evidentaly originally purchased there. The counter staff was very nice and easy to work with and I eventually met Joey, Nice guy, good work.
This year however became somewhat of an extraordinary event. I was cleaning my boat and planning to bring it over in the morning ( you store my trailer that is left there all summer) and my father died suddenly. At that point, I could care less about the boat and wanted to head back up North. I called Joey and I was very distraught; I asked him if Sheltered Cove could pick up the boat instead of my dropping it off. He sympathized with my loss and said he would take care of the boat for me. I went back to my condo to prepare to leave. By the time I went back out to secure the boat...it was gone! Joey picked it up, took all the stuff I left on the dock and put it in the boat.
He emailed me twice since, one to tell me he picked up the boat and dock equipment and the second time to ask how I wanted to pay for the storage. Both times he expressed sorrow for my loss.
People like Joey Cannon are rare finds. I wanted you to know what a valuable assest he is to your company. Most of contact with him is by phone, but I need to stop over to personally thank him for his help this year."

"Purchased a Shamrock from Sheltered Cove- They were just terrific to deal with. I found a small issue with the boat shortly after I picked it up. I called them to see if they would assist in fixing. Not only did they assist,They came to my marina in Cape May to do it, then apologized for not catching it before delivery!!! The boat is used and the contract said it was without warranty I'll be back for more in the future."

"I will come back and buy many boats from them . Jack Ryan, Joey, and Mark bent over backwards to help me through the whole process. Really fantastic people. They take their business very serious an are true professionals. You will never go wrong dealing with them. I do purchasing professionaly on a national basis, and these gentleman really impressed me.
I should also mention George that transported my boat, another true professional.
There are many types of boats that you can buy, but unless the dealership is top notch - you are wasting your time.
And, Sheltered Cove is Top Notch.
